Windows Store for Business

With over 700 sessions plus interactive digital labs, this year’s conference is an easy way to connect with your peers and stay up to date on the latest Microsoft technologies. Register today to secure your spot—and explore the pre-day trainings that will take place on September 25th and will cover building cross-platform enterprise mobile apps, Windows 10 deployment, and preparing for (and passing) Windows 10 certification exams.

In the meantime, as we near the summer months in the northern hemisphere, more and more people take time away from work, making this a common (and often ideal) time to conduct a pilot or full-scale Windows 10 deployment project. With that in mind, this month we’d like to help you address potential roadblocks in your deployment journey. First, our friends over on the Support team have assembled a list of top solutions to common Windows 10 issues involving the upgrade process, imaging, activation, networking, and more. Additional solutions can be found in the Windows 10 IT pro forums where, if you don’t find the answer you’re looking for, you can start a new thread about your specific issue. We're also building out pages in the Windows 10 TechCenter for top tasks around Windows 10 deployment. The first three—application compatibility, security, and Windows Store for Business—are available now and we'll be adding others in the weeks and months to come.

On the topic of security, read on for a walkthrough of the Windows security technologies, both new and old, that can help you lock down your devices and protect your data. We also have an article on improvements to the browsing experience for Windows 10 Enterprise, which are available for testing now to those in the Windows Insider Program.

Finally, if you haven’t yet evaluated Windows 10 for your organization, start by downloading the 90-day Windows 10 Enterprise Evaluation or—if you are looking for a full lab environment—the Windows 10 deployment and management lab kit. Both are free downloads and both can help you experience and test the benefits that Windows 10 can offer.
